Multi-Channel Page/Talk® Carrier – Commlink

Global New Product Launch

Multi-Channel Page/Talk® Carrier – Eliminating expensive cabling for most systems

If you have a Page/Talk® system installation planned, or if you have a system with hard-to-maintain cable, The new CommLink can digitally link all of your stations in a network using any number of media types including Fibre Optic, Ethernet, wireless, microwave, cable or a combination of all of these.

The system is compatible with Guardian, GAI-Tronics and most other digital or analogue systems and can eliminate cable maintenance on most networks, regardless of the type of handsets used or the harshness of the environment.

CommLink will allow you to do things you have not been able to in the past

I would like to introduce you to the one key piece of equipment that is winning me Guardian sales over Gai-Tronics. This is an Australian product that is made specifically for Page/Talk, but can be used across any type of network, including Ethernet, Fibre Optic, Wireless and more.

In 2009, I was conducting maintenance on a Page/Talk system in a nickel smelter in the heart of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and they had an issue which was putting their maintenance guys at risk and which they couldn’t solve with existing technology at that time. They needed something from outside the box.

They wanted to extend their emergency alarm system across their administration and other non-plant areas but they didn’t have cable running there. The cost of cable would be huge, but as it turns out they already had a fibre-optic network in place. They also needed to be able to broadcast alarms for workers in remote locations, where it wasn’t practical to run a 16 core cable for the Page/Talk system to be extended.

Does this problem sound familiar?

Would knowing how to cost effectively solve this issue add value to your business?

See how we not only solved the problem, we also had absolute ecstatic clients save a ton of money BUT…

We also made a ton of money.

They needed a box which would provide a Page Line & five Talk Lines plus switching capability, which could be used across Fibre-Optic, Ethernet or wireless network and link seamlessly into the existing Page/Talk system.

When I evaluated their problem, I recognised that there were many other mine sites and processing plants which have the same issues. This was more than just the cost of purchasing, installing and maintaining the 16 core cable required for Page/Talk systems. This was also about delivering a more reliable communication system with voice audio, contact switching and flashing lights without needing to run extra or long cabling to add Page/Talk stations and speakers for notifying personnel for alarm conditions and general communications.

You see, Australia is a harsh and unforgiving place and with such isolation, we have tens of miles across wide open spaces, often with little or no communication to remote locations such as pumping stations, paste plants, drill sites and other operations at various mine sites. When you factor in the likelihood of electrical storms, the idea of having cable in these open spaces, it starts to get a little bit scary.

After meeting the same problem several times, we sat down and worked out a way that these mine sites and industrial areas with lots of open space and very harsh environments, could still provide audio and flashing warnings to everyone within the facility, without crippling installation and maintenance costs.

What we noticed in most mine sites and heavy industry plants, was they already had Fibre-Optic or Ethernet networks, or even wireless access to the network in almost every area of their plant. It was up to us to work out a way of giving them Page/Talk voice communications and contact closures which could be used across their existing networks and infrastructure.

Enhancing Communication Through Innovation And Expertise

After three years of trial and error and another two years of development, we now have a very secure and very robust multi-channel communications system, which:

And so much more…

As a distributor of Guardian telecommunications range, I want to introduce you to the CommLink system for your existing and future installations of Page/Talk networks. Nearby is a short video which explains some of the features and benefits of this system.

Since the release in early 2017, I have been involved with installing CommLinks with my existing clients, to extend their networks and deliver them a far safer environment. I am also finding that I am more competitive against Gai-Tronics when I offer a cable free network on dispersed installations, such as power plants, through to concentrated networks as on rigs.

Platform-1

Problem solved and lower cost

“We extended our Page-Talk system across our existing fibre-optic network into remote areas and eliminated the cost of purchase and installation of the expensive 16-core cable.”

– Mick McAllister BHP Nickel Smelter

Increased safety with remote alerts & communication

“These are so easy to install over our existing network to our remote pumping stations and I can reconfigure them locally whenever I need.”

– Cameron, Paddington Gold Mine

New solution to existing problem

“We can put flashing alarms in high noise areas, hundreds of metres away from the alarm generator. We can add more options whenever we like”

– Alan, Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines

I would love to put two of these units in your hands, for you to evaluate them over the next 6 weeks. These sell for US$2000 each and we are looking to wholesale these to the Guardian network of resellers, for approximately US$1000 each.

To give you a good opportunity to assess the product and to have your clients assess these in their facilities, we would like to offer a pair of these units for a refundable deposit from a credit card – of US$1000 – for a period of six weeks. We will ship these two units to you and if you are not completely happy with them or you have not sold them to any of your existing clients within the six weeks, you simply return them to us and we will refund your deposit to your credit card. If you keep them, we will invoice you another US$1,000 at the end of 6 weeks and you can invoice your clients direct.

So if you’re keen to increase the value of each of your next year’s sales, or you can see how this will give your next quotation a competitive advantage over other offers, then simply fill in the form below.

We will have a pair of these delivered to your door through a refundable deposit of US$1000 from a business or personal credit card.

If you would like more information about how to put this together as part of a sales package for your future installations or if you have any technical questions, please use the form below.
